IT ALL STARTS FROM THE INTERNET
In a recent webinar of the AHK Finland, we got some interesting ideas and insights from Digital Marketing Expert, Founder, and Drector of Plot, Kimmo Vanhakangas. „Digital presence and the quality of sales materials have suddenly become very crucial for the success or survival of businesses“ Vanhakangas explains. „The buying process starts always before the sales process (…) 88% of all buying processes start from the internet.”
TAKE AN OUTSIDER LOOK
The most important idea in terms of examining and improving communication is to take another look at your communication and sales strategy. Take a so-called “outsider look” and try to answer questions like: “Is it easy to understand what your company does and for which target group?” or “Is the offering clear for the customer?” or “Are your customer’s pain points addressed?”
WRITE A VALUE PROPOSITION
To make sure your communication is focused and clear, Kimmo Vanhakangas recommends writing a so-called value proposition. It should answer questions like: “Why should the potential customers choose you over others?”. Make sure to announce all your individual qualities and values. Make it as clear and simple as possible, so that everyone can understand and memorize it.
THE 5 STEPS TO SUCCESS
To get a focused and step by step improvement of the communication, there are five steps to successful online sales communication:
1) Find your unique strength and value proposition
2) Be easy to understand and clear in your communication
3) Let your visual identity amplify your strengths
4) Be consistent in your communication
5) And last but most importantly: be easy to reach
Wishing you the best of luck while creating or improving your sales and communication strategy! It will surely pay off in the future.
